How we support asylum-seeking children and families
Legal Advice
Our volunteer legal advisors help with:
- Asylum and residence cases involving children
- Child-related cases in the municipality
- Family law cases, e.g., custody, residence, or visitation rights
Contact Persons
Our volunteer contact persons offer:
- Social support, conversations, and activities based on the child’s own interests
- Monitoring the child’s well-being and development from a cross-cultural perspective, so support can be adapted to the individual child’s needs
Family Therapy
Our volunteer therapists provide:
- Family therapy to help with specific issues, e.g., toilet training, sleep, or parent-child communication
